The Consultation
The Consultation was a meeting that took place in 1835 in Columbia to talk about troubles with Mexico. The Consultation was supposed to be on October 16 but hostiles appeared earlier in the month so not all of the people could show up. But the consultation rescheduled to the Fourth of November. No obvious division of power was created which caused a weak government which ended the Consultation of 1835 unclear without leaders. There was discord within the members to the best course to follow. But with Stephen away with the Texian forces a group led by Don Carlos Barrett tried to win the support of Mexican Liberals.
